De Jong & Laan, the parent company of Good Growth Collective, has initiated the process toward B Corp certification. To successfully navigate this convoluted process, they have asked our team to lead the B Impact Assessment and to liaise with B Lab to achieve certification. We are currently working with De Jong & Laan to fulfil the requirements for certification.

Towards B Corp certification
Why good growth?
With our in-house B Heroes, De Jong & Laan trusted Good Growth Collective to deliver on their B Corp journey. Since December 2024, we have engaged with the team at de Jong & Laan to understand the company's operations and account for the B Lab scoring system.
Which standards?
In April 2025, B Lab made the most significant change to the B Corp standards to date. At the same time, companies can still get certified under the old standards (v6). Jointly, the decision was made to pursue certification under the new B Corp standards, which demonstrates de Jong & Laan's commitment to lasting sustainability!
When will it be ready?
Our B Heroes are working hard to get de Jong & Laan's B Corp certificate ready as soon as possible. According to our estimates and B Lab's verification timelines, it should be achieved within the next 6 months!
Results
Within the next 6 months, we aim to achieve a clear deliverable: a B Corp Certification, which offers several benefits. Research indicates that B Corp-certified companies enjoy better long-term and short-term growth than their non-certified counterparts, as well as more effective stakeholder engagement mechanisms. We are happy to be guiding our parent company through this process and are proud of their commitment to sustainability in their operations!
