De Jong & Laan: going B Corp
De Jong & Laan, Good Growth Collective's parent company has started the process toward B Corp certification. To succesfully navigate this convoluted process they have asked our team to lead the B Impact Assessment, and to liaise with B Lab to achieve certification. We are currently working with De Jong & Laan to achieve the required points for certification.

As a B Corp, de Jong & Laan is carefully assessed based on a strict set of international standards. Achieving B Corp certification means that de Jong & Laan is committed to setting an example for customers and society, showcasing its achievemnts in the realm of sustainability, and making this a core value within the organization.

B Corp isn't just a certification, it's a way of conducting business. De Jong & Laan aims to use its B corp certification to integrate sustainability even further into its business model using B Corp to make decisions that involve evreyone in the organization.

Towards B Corp certification
Why good growth?
With our in-house B Heroes, De Jong & Laan trusted Good Growth Collective to deliver on their B Corp journey. Since December 2024 we have engaged with the team at de Jong & Laan to understand the company's operations, and account for the B Lab scoring system.
Which standards?
In April 2025 B Lab made the biggest change to the B Corp standards to date. While companies can still get certified under the old standards (v6). Jointly, the decision was made to pursue certification under the new B Corp standards. This demonstrates de Jong & Laan's commitment to lasting sustainability!
When will it be ready?
Our B Heroes are hard at work to get de Jong & Laan's B corp certificate ready as soon as possible. According to our estimates, and B Labs verification timelines, this should be achieved within the next 6 months!
Results
Within the next 6 months we hope to have a clear deliverable a B Corp Certification. This has several benefits to it. Research indicates that B Corp certified companies enjoy better long-term and short-term growth than their non-certified counterparts, as well as more effective stakeholder engagement mechanisms. We are happy to be guiding our parent company through this process, and proud of their commitment to sustainability in their operations!
