Collective Day: the first of many

On April 4, Good Growth Collective and de Jong & Laan came together for the first-ever Collective Day, a full-day program hosted at the GGC office in Amsterdam. The event was designed to introduce colleagues from de Jong & Laan to the work and mission of Good Growth Collective, with a focus on ESG as a driver of strategy, innovation, and impact.

The day began with a presentation of GGC’s services and approach, followed by a discussion on the ESG challenges companies face today. Participants then engaged in two interactive workshops based on IKEA case studies, applying ESG frameworks to real-world business scenarios. These sessions sparked lively conversations and practical insights.

In the afternoon, two masterclasses led by our co-founder Bernd Hendriksen explored climate change and the circular economy. The sessions highlighted the urgency of ESG transitions and the opportunities they present for businesses. The day concluded with a networking reception, giving everyone a chance to connect and reflect on the experience.

Following the success of this first edition, Collective Day will become a recurring event. Each quarter, colleagues from de Jong & Laan will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of ESG and build stronger ties with the Good Growth Collective team.
