Good Growth in Milan: CSRD Experience Day

At Good Growth Collective, our projects take us all over Europe. While the rules might be the same across the EU, the way they land feels different in every market. We recently had the privilege of co-hosting the CSRD Experience Day in Milan to get into the specific challenges Italian companies are facing right now.

Our consultant Luca Piazza led a workshop that got straight to the point. He walked the room through the real-world application of Double Materiality and how to strategically prioritize sustainability topics without getting lost in the noise. He also spent time on the audit perspective, giving everyone a clear picture of what compliance actually looks like when an external reviewer steps in.

Partnering with Ecocharting to organize this made a big difference. It created the right environment for open discussion rather than just a one-way lecture. It was great to see businesses asking hard questions and actively looking for ways to make sustainability a core part of their strategy.

The big takeaway from Milan was resilience. The administrative weight of the CSRD is heavy, but companies are ready to handle it. They are looking for clarity and practical takeaways that go beyond just reading the regulation text.
