Good Growth in Barcelona: CSRD Experience Day
At Good Growth Collective, we believe that driving real impact requires showing up. Sustainability challenges are global, but the solutions often happen through local collaboration. That is why we headed to Barcelona on February 27th for the CSRD Experience Day. Alongside our partners, we gathered to look at how companies in the region are handling the shift to mandatory reporting.
We were glad to contribute to the agenda with a workshop led by David Martori. The goal was to make the CSRD feel accessible rather than overwhelming. David walked the group through the essential steps of implementation, focusing heavily on the practical side of Double Materiality.
The session dug into the details that matter most. We looked at how to assess actual impact and how to prioritize sustainability issues based on their importance to the business. Crucially, we also covered the auditor’s perspective, giving attendees a clear view of exactly what auditors focus on during compliance reviews.
The rest of the day was full of honest conversation. It was inspiring to see Joris de Bruijn from Ecocharting present their VSME offer, alongside insights from Federico Garcia Agut and Pol Carreras i Roca. The mood in the room was clear. Companies are moving past the theory and want to know how to apply these rules to daily operations.
Reflecting on the event, it is clear that knowledge exchange is the fastest way to progress. We are proud to contribute to these conversations and help businesses navigate the complexities of compliance. If you need help starting your CSRD journey or sorting out your Double Materiality, let’s talk.
